This course is delivered face-2-face in Brisbane or via Zoom Virtual Classroom. It can be completed independently or as part of the BRCGS Professional Qualification.
This course for auditors has been extended to allow time for the inclusion of the soft skills that auditors will be tested for by GSFI. It will provide an understanding of the Standard in terms of the new protocol and requirements as well as how to apply them in audit situation. As well as providing an in-depth guide to the requirements of the Standard, delegates will also learn how to undertake a BRCGS audit including the planning and reporting of the audit. This course will provide delegates with an in-depth understanding of the revisions to the format and content of the Standard and includes particular reference to the changes in response to the issues and concerns of the food industry. The course is designed to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to successfully implement the Standard on-site.
Delegates must have a working knowledge of quality management systems and auditing within the relevant manufacturing sector. Delegates should also have completed a HACCP course of at least two days duration.

This course will provide delegates with an in-depth understanding of the revisions to the format and content of the Standard and includes particular reference to the changes in response to the issues and concerns of the food industry.
The course is designed to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to successfully implement the Standard on-site. The course covers the third party audit requirements against the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8 and includes all relevant aspects of auditing within the food sector.
The course includes the protocol and the requirements of Issue 9, and BRCGS audit methodology, particularly audit management and consistent report writing. Delegates must have a working knowledge of quality management systems and auditing within the relevant manufacturing sector.
At the end of the course you will be assessed by an exam.

On successful completion of the required courses, you will be awarded with BRC Global Standards Professional certificate and an electronic open badge for use on emails and LinkedIn*.
