Description

Update your HACCP system to meet the requirements of FSSC or ISO 22000 with this is a 1-day course focusing on the specific interpretation of HACCP covering PRP’s, CCP's and OPRP’s. The course is delivered face-2-face in Brisbane & via Zoom Virtual Classroom.

 

FSSC 22000 is a GFSI benchmarked food safety standard, which is based on the ISO 22000 standard.  ISO 22000 is applicable to all organisations involved in the food chain, whose main objective is to ensure food safety based on HACCP principles but unlike other GFSI standards, FSSC/ISO 22000's HACCP includes not just Critical Control Points (CCP) but also Pre-Requisite Programs (PRP) & Operational Pre-Requisite Programs (OPRP).

 

 

COURSE SUMMARY:

In this course participants will update their HACCP knowledge and learn to be able to identify PRP's, CCP's & OPRP's as they relate to HACCP implementation within the FSSC/ISO 22000 system. Critical limits and action criteria will be reviewed and discussed, along with the use of decision trees. There will be practical activities and case studies during the course along with a written assessment, that is completed during the course. There is no post course assignment. There is a written practical exam that is completed in the course time.

Upon completion participants will receive an ICS Certificate of Attendance.

By completing this training course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the changes in FSSC 22 000 vs 6 and how they relate to HACCP requirements.
  • Describe and apply the 7 HACCP principles as applied in ISO 22000:2018.
  • Identify PRP's, CCP's & OPRP's.
  • Identify and document critical limits and action criteria.
  • Document control plans for PRP's, CCP's and OPRP's.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

QA Managers and HACCP team members who are reviewing their current HACCP plan to ensure compliance with FSSC 22000 vs 6 and ISO 22000: 2018 requirements.

 

ASSESSMENT:

There will be practical activities and case studies during the course along with a written assessment, that is completed during the course. There is no post course assignment.

 

DELIVERY METHOD

This course is delivered face-to-face in Brisbane or via Virtual Classroom at exactly the same time as the face-to-face training so all participants will actively take part in group discussions and exercises.

Virtual Classroom Participants will be sent an email from the trainer approximately 30 minutes before the start of the course with a link to the online training course meeting.  All you will have to do is click on the link and follow a couple of instructions (no downloads required).  All virtual participants view the same material and are expected to actively participate throughout the duration of the course.
