This 4-hour workshop offers practical training for Recall team members, focusing on the essential steps involved in carrying out a recall, as well as the necessary documentation required for submission to regulatory authorities. The course is specifically tailored to meet the training requirements of certain retailer supplier standards.
Course Summary:
Throughout the workshop, participants will explore the following key topics:
- Understanding due diligence and legal requirements in relation to food safety laws.
- Reviewing past foodborne illness outbreaks in Australia for valuable insights.
- Familiarizing participants with the responsibilities of recall team members.
- Assessing and refining your company's existing Recall procedure and Contingency plan.
- Examining the 2023 FSANZ Recall protocol in detail.
- Exploring the recall process for exported products.
- Completing mandatory FSANZ documentation.
The course emphasizes hands-on learning, with a series of practical activities designed to engage and empower recall team members. As a result, participants can expect their Recall procedures to be revisited and potentially improved. This may involve reevaluating the composition of the Recall team for enhanced effectiveness.
There will be no post-course assignments or written exams, ensuring a stress-free learning environment. Upon completion, all participants will receive an ICS Statement of Attendance as recognition of their successful participation in the workshop.
